HOT HIBBITY JIBBITY!!!

Post by towerclimber on Thu Mar 10, 2011 6:43 pm

I went over to my brother's house last night and helped him put together a hutch for his leatherworking bench...during the conversation, I related that I broke the plastic stand that my Lee classic press was bolted on to and that I needed some longer shanked bolts to bolt it onto my work bench. I asked if he had any.
We had to go out to the garage anyway to cut some shelves and while we were out there, he said ..I guess I don't have any bolts, but you can always go to lowes to get some...and oh, btw, could you use this?:

An old Lyman All American turret press!!! not yeah but HECK yeah!!!! so now, I'm in need of 7 long shanked bolts to bolt them both onto my work bench and I guess I'm going to reload till I run out of powder or ball..

You guys can't see me but I'm over here doin' the snoopy dance!!!

I finally got the Lyman press bolted down to my work bench. I now have the lee classic press on one side and the lyman press on the other side.
I also realized that I now need to bolt the top of my work bench down on the frame. LOL!
I did manage to 50 rounds of .308 and I love this press!!
I'm going to resize a couple of hundred rounds 50 at a time, and then reload them.
I've got 900 168 grain .308 bullets that I can reload. I figure I'll reload all of my .308 and get the 6 magazines that I have for my M1A filled up and the rest stored.
I REALLY like this receipe that I've got. Also, I have an excellent receipe for the M1 Garand.
If anyone wants it, I'll email it to you or try to post it here.
