Congress passes regulations NOT the alphbet cops...but that dont seem to stop them. Whole lot of pistol gripped shotguns out there bought straight across the tables "legally".

An open letter to Andrew Traver on the occasion of his appointment to be Director of the ATF.

After we retake...we need to clean up, consolidate, and get rid of many of the alphabet agencies...there's way too many and way too many that are armed that shouldn't be.

I have to agree, Ken. Not only that but many Democrats just don't get it..
In order to reduce the deficit, we need to SHRINK the government, not add more taxes.
The BATF(U) is under the control and oversight of none other than Dianne Feinsteine. We all know that she's going to use what ever trick that she can in order to remove firearms from the hands of citizens.
As of now, the ATF is working to "reclassify" certain ammunition as 'large caliber'. If it weren't for the efforts of many folks of our "gun culture", the ATF would have reclassified the 7.62x59R cartridge as a 'large caliber' round and bring it under their jurisdiction.
That would have pretty much stopped all importation and sale of Mosin Nagant rifles.
As it is, I find it comical that they want to attempt to stop the sale of any shotgun with a pistol grip.
yeah..I can see it now.
ATF: "you all have to turn in your pistol grip shotguns! they're now ILLEGAL!....SEIG HEIL!!"

Citizens: "you sure you want to do that boys?"

ATF : "You WILL comply!!"

citizens :"ok, you asked for em.....BOOM!......somebody feel like scraping those loud fellas up off the floor? they're drawin flies...."

"They" can't even run a friggin' No-Call List and "they" want to run our lives!

Amen to that. But the big thing is passing laws that turn people into instant criminals for owning what was perfectly legal before. And someone please tell me how a small handle makes a shotgun more deadly or dangerous???? Baffles the hell out of me.

Well one reason is to justify their existence...really they are 'law makers" but what the hell isn't covered under an existing law?

Besides, law abiding citizens obey laws therefore their laws are effective...they don't do anything for crime but they still look effective on paper.

One senator from each state and quadruple the rep districts thus getting rid of 50% of senators and 75% of the Reps AND their massive staffs.

Look. I agree that we should watch what we say. I also believe that before long, some folks are going to get what they want.

There's plenty of things you can refuse to do with someone. You can refuse to eat with them, work with them, speak to them, be around them.
but if they want to fight you, you have to oblige them.

The ATF currently follows only the laws that they prefer to follow.
They pick and choose these laws at their whim or will.
They have powers of arrest and approval to use lethal force.
We have seen numerous instances of outright lying by their officials. This has been proven yet congress refuses to either shut them down or clean them up.
Isn't it about time we made this a priority?

I could do this all night long with various government agencies. All of which are armed. They don't want us armed, but they keep purchasing weapons. The 2 links I listed are from a Governement Procurement sight. The IRS and Department of Education are the 2 agencies mentioned in the links.
