Bought 11 years ago from an older gentleman at a gun show.

Thoroughly cleaned and taken care of...was hunted with once a few years ago. No damage or neglect and shoots like a dream!

Based off the serial number, it was manufactured in November 1942.

Nice rifle.

it IS a nice rifle, but for a 25 dollar registration fee to Garand collectors club and 650 dollars you can hand pick a rifle from the racks of the CMP or have them do it and ship it to ya for around 700 dollars.
